Treasure Barette
A freeform peyote and bead applique barette made from various
sizes of
seed beads, lampwork beads, buttons, Czech pressed glass, cateye beads,
and antique whiteheart beads. Larger than actual size.
This is my first amulet bag, woven of seed beads and
embellished with baltic amber and turquoise.
Mike's first bead project. It's a 16 x 3 1/2 " panel
woven of 10/0 seed beads. Mike created the pattern himself
from an ancient Celtic knotwork design of the "pictish" school.
It features three dogs intertwined in the
classic Celtic style. Mike used Beadscape
to chart the pattern.
We've developed a software program
for Mac users that charts beadwork patterns.
