Welcome to my website, for those interested in finding out more about my interests and my work. It's been a long while since I properly updated this site. I've been very busy on other projects and have had some health difficulties. But I was so thrilled and honored at receiving the very rare and prestigious WSO Crown for Graphic Design in September, that I had to update this page in order to proudly display it! My sincere thanks to WSO for this award. I work as a freelance artist. My specialty subjects are usually animal-related or fantasy genre, but I've done a great variety of other types of work including award-winning websites, award-winning logos, software, magazine and book illustration and covers, collectible card game and computer game art, technical and medical illustration, and comic art. I worked for several years as a publications artist and designer, producing magazines, books, advertisements, and various promotional materials. I also have produced 4 limited edition art reproduction prints, and two of those are sold out. I hope to have a page up for my prints soon. I also design beadwork pattern books which will be available soon. Persons interested in contacting me regarding my artistic services or previewing an online portfolio may click here. |
Hobbies and other interests of mine include colored and art glass, stained glass work, beadwork, letterboxing, treasure hunting, science, games, logic puzzles, computers, films, antiques, art nouveau, mission arts & crafts design, and of course, anything art- or animal-related. I have owned or worked with horses and dogs for much of my life, and animals continue to be a great influence in my lifestyle. I'm training my seven-year-old red Australian Shepherd to herd, and I enjoy it as much as she does. She has successfully competed in obedience and agility trials as well. Here are some pictures of the dogs - more to come. And you can find out more about "Aussies" here. Probably because of my ancestry, I love nearly anything Celtic, especially traditional music, dance, and artwork. In the spring of 96, Mike and I went to Ireland. I loved it so much, I want to go back someday soon. Scotland is next on the list. In the fall of 96, I became seriously ill. I was sick for more than 3 years, but I'm now on the road to recovery. I plan to make up for those lost years by chasing as many dreams as I can. I won't publish details here, but if you're curious you can drop me an e-mail. On June 6, 1997, I caught some footage of a tornado in Boulder County. Click here to see some images. Hope you enjoy your visit to my site. Let me know how you like it. |
